My name is Lynda Wallace, and I have the great pleasure of working with clients to help them to create greater levels of happiness, meaning, and success in their lives and work — and to enjoy themselves along the way. I meet with local clients in my sunny office in Montclair, NJ, and with clients from around the world over the phone and internet.
My practice is grounded in Positive Psychology, a research-based branch of psychology that studies the nature and causes of genuine happiness, healthy relationships, emotional well-being, meaningful accomplishments, and other elements of living well.
I came to this work after extensive study of positive psychology theory and practice, and following a very successful twenty-year career as an executive with Johnson & Johnson, where I was responsible for the acquisition of new medical technologies as well as the growth of a $1 billion global portfolio of brands including Band-Aids, Neosporin, and Purell.
I hold an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a BA from the University of Delaware, and a Certificate in Positive Psychology from Kripalu Institute. I am also a Certified Positive Psychology Coach and a member of the International Positive Psychology Association and the International Coaches Federation.
Most importantly of all, I’m the very happy single mother of a wonderful daughter, whom I adopted from China when she was twelve months old. To my amazement, that was nearly twelve years ago.
Whatever else I do in my life, that will always remain the best decision I ever made.
